Brian McCrohan, MA, LGPC

I am driven by a deep passion for helping individuals navigate the complexities of their lives and achieve meaningful growth and healing. Committed to providing holistic care, I firmly believe in the power of an integrative approach to psychotherapy. This allows me to combine elements from different therapeutic approaches to create a space that is both supportive and empowering. My approach focuses on the mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of my clients. My guiding principle as a therapist is to cultivate a warm, non-judgmental, safe, and affirming environment fostering a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust and empathy.

Brian did his graduate work at Boston College earning master's degrees in both Counseling Psychology and Pastoral Ministry. He has a background working in church ministry and is able to integrate client's spiritual and religious backgrounds into the counseling process. This is the case both for people who find strength in their religious beliefs and for those who have had painful experiences with religion. In addition to his work in counseling Brian also teaches at Frederick Community College offering classes in Interpersonal Communication, Social Psychology, and World Religions.
