An avid reader, Michael is most comfortable at home with some work by C.S. Lewis, J. R. Tolkien, G.K. Chesterton or T.S. Eliot. Here he feels connected to friends who share a similar vision of reality; a vision that embraces the past, anticipates the future, and loves the present. Michael is intentional in his desire to be connected to the past by entering into a dialogue with respected thinkers. He hopes to be connected to the future by challenging himself to take seriously the visionaries and research developments of our times. However, most importantly, he desires to be connected to the present by developing an intentional stance of love toward those persons, places and things given to him today.
